Rail Bridge Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Michael Baker International is seeking a talented Rail Bridge Project Manager with a specialization in bridge design to help make a difference in our Rail and Transit Practice.

In Short

• Manage rail bridge design projects for US Class I railroads and transit agencies.
• Establish work plans and staffing for project phases.
• Develop and implement project plans for complex projects.
• Ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare project reports and perform cost management analysis.
• Maintain client engagement to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate project activities with other departments and agencies.
• Conduct safety meetings and training programs.
• Review project design and contract plans for compliance.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in bridge design and construction.
• PE license required.
• Experience with US Class I Railroads and local Rail Transit agencies.
• Familiarity with AREMA standards.
• Experience with CADD software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
