Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in attracting top talent, advising business leaders on hiring strategies, and enhancing the employer brand. This position is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and hiring process. It combines strategic recruitment expertise, market intelligence, and relationship management to drive hiring success and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.

In Short

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Review and update job descriptions to align with business needs.
  • Advise leadership on market conditions and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop sourcing strategies leveraging various platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct resume reviews and in-depth interviews.
  • Guide hiring managers on interview techniques and selection criteria.
  • Develop competitive job offers and lead negotiations.
  • Track and analyze key hiring metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage HR technology to optimize hiring processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition/recruitment.
  • Ability to consult with senior leaders and shape hiring strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience with assessment tools such as Predictive Index.
  • Strong planning, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn, social media recruiting, MS Office, HRIS, and ATS systems.
  • Post-secondary education in HR, business, or a related field is an asset.
  • Previous corporate HR experience is an asset.
