Overview

The Field Territory Manager is responsible for building, managing, and growing strong relationships with a defined network of independent insurance agencies within an assigned geographic territory.

  • Prospect and initiate conversations with new independent insurance agents.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with assigned agencies.
  • Meet monthly premium and submission goals.
  • Build market position by developing agency relationships.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize territory performance.
  • Track and follow up on opportunities and quotes.
  • Make formal sales presentations.
  • Document all activity within the Agency Relationship Management system.
  • Formulate new business strategies and marketing ideas.

Requirements

  • Strong sales presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Must be comfortable with negotiating.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and self-confidence.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • At least 1 year of experience in insurance sales or services.
  • Bachelor’s in business or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
