The Director, Business Strategy at Merkle is a fully remote position focused on helping clients enhance their marketing maturity through data-driven strategies and technology platforms.

In Short

• Lead consulting workstreams for client transformation engagements.
• Manage daily consulting delivery efforts and client interactions.
• Facilitate client discovery and assess readiness for marketing transformation.
• Deliver operating model and change management engagements.
• Analyze client business processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop executive-level presentations and multi-year implementation roadmaps.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategies.
• Support business development activities and proposal development.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting and business transformation.
• 8+ years in a top-tier consulting firm or digital marketing agency.
• Experience in operations consulting and process design.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies in marketing.
• Experience in B2B marketing solutions and strategies.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
• Prior experience in marketing operations or change management preferred.
