Overview

The Alliance Solution Leader (ASL) will be primarily responsible for providing sales support, solution development leadership, and Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts through the Partner Alliance (Salesforce) to grow Merkle’s services business.

In Short

  • Lead relationships for pre-sales and engineering support across Salesforce alliance cloud areas.
  • Drive attributed Merkle-influenced software revenue for the Salesforce Partnership.
  • Assist in developing strong partnerships with Salesforce partner managers.
  • Function as a subject matter expert with Salesforce.
  • Execute duties aligned with the approved sales plan for Merkle services.
  • Participate in go-to-market activities and deal-registration management.
  • Contribute to the joint GTM narrative between Merkle and Salesforce.
  • Assist in driving the Partner alliance to higher levels of maturity.
  • Provide significant funding through Marketing Development Funds (MDF).
  • Help achieve alliance metric targets across pipeline, revenue, and win rate.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience with alliance partners, especially Salesforce.
  • Experience in large strategic implementations.
  • Proven ability to navigate Salesforce’s complex organization.
  • Experience engaging with clients in both new and existing sales scenarios.
  • Domain knowledge in marketing technology and ad technology.
  • Strong proactive, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to develop strong internal relationships within respective Verticals.
