Overview

The primary mission of the part time Program Career Coach is to focus on coaching and supporting Merit America’s learners so that they have what they need to succeed in our program and beyond.

In Short

• Part-time role (25-29 hours per week).
• Focus on coaching and supporting learners.
• Responsibilities include learner management and career counseling.
• Facilitate job sourcing and promote entry-level opportunities.
• Deliver personalized career coaching and feedback.
• Support learners in resume writing and interview preparation.
• Adapt coaching approaches to individual learner needs.
• Track job placement progress and verify outcomes.
• Work remotely and occasionally in evenings.
• Temporary position through 12/18/2025.

Requirements

• Experience in career coaching or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple demands.
• Alignment with Merit America’s mission and values.
• Familiarity with online learning management systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• Experience presenting to large groups virtually is beneficial.
