Associate Software Automation Engineering Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Software Automation Engineer 1 is an entry-level member of the Software Automation team responsible for the setup and maintenance of loan programs within the Product Pricing Engine (PriceMyLoan). This role involves tackling increasingly complex tasks as the engineer gains technical and mortgage expertise.

In Short

• Build, test, and maintain loan programs within PriceMyLoan.
• Automate investor guidelines and rate sheet adjustments.
• Assist clients with system configuration and pricing requests.
• Investigate client-reported issues and apply fixes.
• Field inquiries regarding software behavior.
• Monitor email/web download error logs.
• Create workflow rules for user privileges.
• Obtain knowledge of various roles in the mortgage industry.
• Deliver low to medium complexity builds.
• Explain complex technical concepts to clients.

Requirements

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Motivated to continually learn and improve.
• Experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
