Overview

The Cooperative Advisor will oversee the implementation and internal coordination of community consumer cooperatives under the THABAT Project aimed at improving food security and resilience in conflict-affected communities in Sudan.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Cooperative Development, Agribusiness, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cooperative or market systems development.
  • Technical expertise in cooperative principles and financial management.
  • Strong organizational leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and renewable energy solutions.
  • Proven experience in training and mentorship in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Sudanese socio-economic context.
