Overview

Mercor is seeking native Brazilian Portuguese speakers who are also medical professionals based in Brazil. This role combines your clinical expertise with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the healthcare domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex medical concepts into clear rubrics for AI training.
• Write fluently in both Portuguese and English, ensuring accurate terminology.
• Provide cultural and medical insights specific to Brazilian healthcare.
• Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• This is a remote and asynchronous role, allowing flexible scheduling.
• Expect to contribute at least 20 hours per week for around 2 months.
• You'll work in a structured project environment with clear goals.

• Participate in a paid work trial to determine suitability for the role.
• Receive feedback and onboarding if selected.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and strong English skills.
• Advanced degree in healthcare (MD, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.).
• 2–6+ years of medical practice or healthcare-related experience.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in medical writing or instructional design is preferred.
• Familiarity with generative AI models is a bonus.
