Medical Content Developer - Bilingual Mandarin/English - Remote

Overview

Mercor is seeking native Mandarin speakers who can read/write in Simplified Chinese and are also medical professionals who have worked in China. This role combines your clinical expertise with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the healthcare domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex medical concepts for AI training.
• Write fluently in both Simplified Chinese and English.
• Provide cultural and medical insights specific to Chinese healthcare.
• Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Remote and asynchronous role with flexible scheduling.
• Commit to at least 20 hours per week for around 2 months.
• Advanced degree (MD or PhD) in a related healthcare field required.
• 2–6+ years of medical practice or healthcare-related experience.
• Experience in medical writing or academic publishing preferred.
• Familiarity with AI models or machine learning concepts is a plus.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Mandarin and strong English skills.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with grading or instructional design is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a structured project environment.
