The Regional Medical Scientific Director is a credentialed expert who engages in scientific exchange and provides medical information to Scientific Leaders in the therapeutic areas of Rheumatology and Dermatology.

In Short

  • Engage with national and regional Scientific Leaders (SLs).
  • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions.
  • Maintain knowledge of the scientific and clinical environment.
  • Initiate discussions on research alignment with SLs.
  • Recommend study sites for clinical development programs.
  • Support scientific congresses and medical meetings.
  • Gather insights from SLs and patients.
  • Promote an inclusive work environment.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulations.
  • Lead onboarding and therapeutic expertise sharing.

Requirements

  • Minimum PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
  • 3+ years of relevant therapeutic area experience.
  • Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA, OIG, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Field-based medical experience preferred.
  • Research experience and publication record preferred.
