Data Scientist Coach (Director+) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for senior leaders in data science roles who value learning, growth, and community and who are passionate about developing and coaching people in their field.

In Short

• Providing 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions.
• Participating in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities.
• Communicating with members via Mento email or chat.
• Sharing coaching tools and insights within the Mento community.
• Acting with kindness and respect as an ambassador of the Mento community.
• Must have 20+ years of experience in data science leadership.
• Willing to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month for coaching.
• This is a contract position with hourly pay and potential bonuses.
• Must be based in North America or Europe.
• Looking for experienced senior leaders who want to expand their coaching skills.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience managing data science teams.
• Coaching certification is a plus but not required.
• Passionate about helping people advance in their careers.
• High emotional IQ and self-awareness.
• Comfortable in a startup environment.
• Available for a minimum of 18 months.
• Must be able to commit 3-5 hours per week.
• Willing to participate in ICF-certified coach training.
• Must have a growth mindset.
• Ability to create a safe space for others.
