Regional Facility Manager - Remote

Overview

The MEININGER Hotel Group is looking for a Regional Facility Manager responsible for daily preventive maintenance in our hotels across German-speaking regions. The candidate should possess good technical knowledge and a proactive mindset, acting as a problem solver with a broad perspective.

In Short

• Independent property management of existing hotels in collaboration with hotel managers.
• Handling incoming requests via our ticketing system and organizing maintenance and repair work.
• Management of contractors and FM service providers, coordinating damage and defect rectification.
• Ensuring all activities meet maintenance standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Warranty management in coordination with owners and external companies.
• Collecting offers as per requirements and guidelines.
• Supervising external service providers and key suppliers for property maintenance.
• Regular site visits (up to 40% travel). Travel costs covered by the company.
• Responsible for tracking maintenance services and ensuring availability of spare parts.
• Participating in budget creation and reporting within the area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of proven experience in Facility Management, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience in maintenance of facilities and building installations is a plus.
• Ability to apply problem-solving skills and techniques.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.
• Fluent in German; English is a plus.
