Overview

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, revising, and transmitting Purchase Orders, ensuring accurate order quantities and ETAs to support efficient operations.

In Short

  • Work-from-home position with proximity to Northfield or Mundelein, IL offices.
  • Ensure suppliers have received all Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain accurate ETAs and order quantities.
  • Monitor and correct past due vendor invoices.
  • Process workflow errors in SAP.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments as necessary.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • 2 years of experience in purchasing or requisition processing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Basic understanding of algebra and statistics.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience with SAP.
