Maintenance Lead - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Lead oversees and performs maintenance to support day-to-day operations and maintain the physical assets of the property.

In Short

• Oversee maintenance operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform technical maintenance jobs on various machinery and equipment.
• Train and assist junior maintenance staff.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Use precision measuring equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work overtime and be available for on-call requests.
• Maintain a safe work environment by eliminating potential hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience with heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of MIOSHA and OSHA standards.
• Ability to work for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related technical area.
