In Short

  • Answer inbound calls from members with questions about medical claims, benefits, eligibility, and prior authorization.
  • Handle an average of 40+ calls daily.
  • Remain customer-focused to meet tailored needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints through independent problem-solving skills.
  • Meet or exceed call center metrics while providing accurate information.
  • Foster teamwork and partnership with cross-functional departments.
  • Maintain a dedicated workspace with no distractions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful in difficult situations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong organization skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection.
  • Experience with call center metrics is a plus.
