Operations Quality Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Operations Quality Specialist at McKesson is responsible for supporting and sustaining the Quality Management System and Quality initiatives within a healthcare context. This role focuses on maximizing quality processes and compliance through effective procedures, analytics, and technology.

In Short

• Support and sustain the Quality Management System.
• Establish and develop change control processes across distribution centers.
• Conduct impact assessments for changes at distribution centers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement change control programs.
• Lead quality initiatives and support additional QMS activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Update SOPs and Work Instructions as needed.
• Prepare for inspection readiness activities.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
• Work remotely from home.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in business, STEM, or related field.
• 4+ years of healthcare experience.
• Experience managing complex business processes and change programs.
• Knowledge of FDA and other regulatory agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Technical writing experience.
• Experience with FDA inspections.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted.
