Overview

The Construction Design Manager at McDonald's UK & Ireland will lead the design aspects of new build and reimage construction projects, optimizing restaurant design for efficiency, innovation, and brand alignment.

In Short

• Collaborate with Architects & project teams for efficient designs.
• Lead the Design Working Group for project approvals.
• Communicate design guidance to Project Management teams.
• Implement Global Design Studio standards across UK & Ireland.
• Ensure compliance with Building & Welfare Regulations.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify design opportunities.
• Visit restaurants to review design execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a design management role within retail construction.
• Strong space planning and retail layout experience.
• Background in interior design with a focus on aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Familiarity with UK Building & Welfare Regulations.
• Driving License required for travel across UK & Ireland.
