Data & AI Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Data & AI Consultant is responsible for being a partner to team members, a mentor, and directly enabling growth of the Data & AI Services team at MCA. The Consultant is expected to be involved in all aspects of project implementations, drive innovation, upskill and mentor junior teammates, and partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement.

In Short

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions and document client requirements.
• Independently perform data mapping analysis and documentation tasks.
• Demonstrate dimensional modeling capabilities and delivery.
• Implement complex data transformations using SQL, Python, and DAX.
• Build Power BI Reports, Dashboards, and Apps.
• Conduct working sessions with clients.
• Field ad hoc requests from clients.
• Estimate tasks and track work to completion using Azure DevOps.
• Perform peer review for source code version control.
• Must be open to ~10% travel on an as needed basis.

Requirements

• 2+ years Data Warehousing (Azure/SQL/Synapse/Spark/Delta Lake), ETL (ADF Pipelines/SSIS), Analysis Services, DAX, Power BI Pro and Premium.
• Experience in designing and implementing data solutions for complex business problems.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, Object Oriented Design, and Data Structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience preferable.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
