Business Systems Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with experience in IT application development projects to join our team on a contract basis. The BSA will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and collaborating with technical teams to support the development and implementation of a new IT application. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

In Short

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Work closely with architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.
• Collect and clean traditional and big data.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and extract insights.
• Present data in an organized manner using data analysis and visualization techniques.

Requirements

• Experience working on cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Industry certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or Agile/Scrum certifications.
• Background in enterprise software implementation, system integrations or custom application builds.
