Overview

We are looking for a talented Scientific Software Developer who is interested in greenfield research & analysis to join our team, enhancing our materials modelling suite to predict the properties of novel materials.

In Short

  • Conduct material research and analysis.
  • Perform IP white space analysis for new material areas.
  • Support commercial activities with feasibility studies and grant writing.
  • Develop general-purpose tools for data-driven materials modelling.
  • Design workflows for high-throughput calculations.
  • Interface with high-performance computing environments.
  • Collaborate with the science team for platform development.
  • Minimum 2.1 first degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience or PhD in a related field.
  • Track record of coding in Python.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of scientific principles related to materials.
  • Experience in computational modelling methods.
  • Passion for the start-up ecosystem.
  • Nice to have experience in semiconductor materials.
  • Ability in JavaScript, Fortran, Julia or C++.
  • Understanding of containerisation technology.
  • Experience in machine learning applications.
  • Commitment to material sustainability.
