Risk Governance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Risk Governance Analyst assists with all aspects of the Bank’s Risk Management Program, ensuring the Program is effective; the risk governance (GRC) framework is functional and maintained. The role will assist with developing, implementing and evaluating the various components of the Bank’s Risk Program and will collaborate across business and operating areas to ensure input and adoption of GRC by key partners.

• Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Program.
• Assists with the organization and completion of various risk assessments.
• Takes a lead role in the coordination of the Bank’s Risk Committee meetings.
• Implements and maintains the Bank’s GRC framework/software.
• Coordinates preparation for various audits, reviews, reports, and exams.
• Works with business lines to identify and inventory internal controls.
• Implements Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) methodologies.
• Communicates the risk and control environment to stakeholders.
• Remains knowledgeable about operational risks across the bank.
• Adheres to all written policies and procedures of the Bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Risk Management Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience developing presentations for Senior Leadership.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.
• Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information.
