Overview

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our global Finance Team at Mary’s Meals International.

In Short

• Responsible for recording financial transactions and administering the purchase ledger.
• First point of contact for all colleague and supplier enquiries.
• Daily recording of income and expenditure in an accurate and timely manner.
• Administer the purchase ledger with accurate recording of purchase orders and invoices.
• Support the Finance Manager in financial control reviews and policy development.
• Experience in managing a varied workload within a busy finance team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Strong numeracy skills and experience with Excel.
• Proven purchase ledger experience necessary.
• Experience in an international environment is beneficial.

Requirements

• Experience in a finance team.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manipulate data in Excel.
• Proven ability to handle queries related to finances.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work remotely and flexibly.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high standards in recruitment.
• Understanding of financial policies and procedures.
• Robust numeracy skills.
