Senior Product Designer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Product Designer at Marqeta, you will play a critical role in designing solutions that help business customers build and launch card programs. You will work on our 0 -> 1 consumer-facing products and shape the future of embedded finance. We’re interested in hiring someone who’s highly focused on craft and execution, while being capable of leading projects and operating independently.

In Short

• Craft embedded finance solutions for customers and cardholders
• Own a product area and lead design execution end-to-end while driving cross-functional alignment
• Assume responsibility for design quality in areas they oversee
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders on all aspects of product, design, and development
• Advocate for user needs and balance them with business needs to make informed decisions that work for all

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company, or a design agency
• A portfolio that showcases engaging examples of B2C/consumer-facing products on mobile native platforms (iOS and/or Android), SDK products, and/or white label products
• Expertise in product, interaction, and visual design paired with a high bar of craft and taste
• Experience leading design projects end-to-end
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities
• Comfort working with distributed teams
