In Short

• Design and implement scalable services for our API and routing engine tiers.
• Improve services that power data consumption and storage of routing data.
• Drive design, development, and testing of Mapbox tools.
• Shape internal tools and automations.
• Drive design and development of services quality metrics and analytics.
• Run and design experiments to evaluate quality, reliability, and capacity requirements.
• Participate in end-to-end feature implementation.
• Work with product owners and management to drive product direction.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering web services in Rust or Typescript (Node.js).
• Experience building highly-available API services in container-based environments.
• Proficiency in monitoring instrumentation and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of operating and distributed systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience or interest in solving geo-spatial problems.
