Layer Finance is seeking a Software Engineer to build a remote API for our web application and manage cloud infrastructure, contributing to innovative solutions in the private markets sector.

Requirements

• Experience with designing and implementing high quality software services.

• Ability to work remotely but occasionally meet in-person as needed.
• Official permanent or temporary residence in Austria.
• Knowledge of Scala or other functional statically typed programming language (nice to have).
• Ability to use Python in a well-engineered and type-safe fashion (nice to have).
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing and networking (nice to have).
• Knowledge of information security and data protection practices (nice to have).
• Familiarity with databases and other data storage solutions (nice to have).
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, tools and data analysis (nice to have).
