Retail Business Risk Analyst III - Remote

Overview

This position supports the first line of defense risk management function by assisting with the identification and assessment of risks, risk monitoring and testing, and issues management.

In Short

• Hybrid position requiring in-office work three days a week in Buffalo, NY.
• Document key business unit processes accurately.
• Identify and assess risks and internal controls.
• Participate in risk-based testing programs.
• Perform control testing in accordance with guidelines.
• Monitor business unit performance with key risk indicators.
• Complete Risk Control Self Assessments and reporting.
• Assist in reporting risk events and loss events.
• Research regulatory requirements affecting the business unit.
• Build relationships with Internal Audit and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Case Management, Issue Remediation, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Experience in Operational Risk and Policy Compliance preferred.
