Overview

Seasoned processor with a strong analytical ability to assess conventional and government loan requests based on a thorough knowledge of product, underwriting, and investor guidelines.

• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in a new loan application.
• Assist customers in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
• Monitor, update, and analyze credit reports, appraisals, and income documentation.
• Perform administrative duties supporting the origination department.
• Scrutinize loan applications and assess qualifications.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or two years equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience.
• Good PC skills with strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Email Platform, and Adobe.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on information provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliable and dependable.
