The Mortgage Processor plays a crucial role in assisting with the mortgage loan process, ensuring quality loan files are prepared for underwriting and communicating with borrowers throughout the process.

In Short

• Assist in the mortgage loan process from origination to closing.
• Review incoming documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation for loan decisions.
• Order appraisals and prepare verification forms as needed.
• Submit loan files to underwriting and communicate conditions.
• Prepare and send preliminary closing disclosures to borrowers.
• Work in a hybrid role with in-office requirements on specific days.
• Provide exceptional service and support to members.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain active registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System.

Requirements

• Experience with various types of mortgage loans.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
