Mortgage Closing Specialist II - Remote

Overview

This role serves as an intermediary for the collection, review, and preparation of information necessary for the submission of loans for Closing Disclosure issuance.

In Short

• Collaborate with parties to meet target close dates.
• Ensure accuracy of data for Closing Disclosure issuance.
• Maintain effective communication with all involved parties.
• Review files for compliance with guidelines.
• Perform validation of fees and submit wires to fund loans.
• Prepare and issue Closing Disclosures timely and accurately.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees.
• Support Team Lead with policy/procedure updates.
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
• Promote an inclusive environment reflecting the company brand.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree plus 2 years of mortgage experience or equivalent.
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of software.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Notary Public certification preferred.
