Commercial Credit Analyst, Financial Institutions - Remote

Overview

A member of the Commercial Credit team that partners with senior team members supporting the duties of underwriting and the on-going monitoring of a portfolio of credit relationships.

In Short

• Analyze new credit requests and modifications for commercial clients.
• Manage ongoing credit risk through continuous credit monitoring activities.
• Review financial information and complete credit analyses.
• Prepare financial models and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with relationship managers throughout the credit process.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
• Identify suspicious activities and assess credit risks.
• Present findings and risk ratings during credit discussions.
• Maintain internal control standards and audit compliance.
• Assist in various credit-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience in commercial credit or financial analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg is preferred.
• Experience in Financial Institutions Commercial lending is preferred.
