Business Banking & Consumer Support Specialist II - Remote

Overview

This position provides operations support to various areas of Business Banking and Consumer Collections, involving data entry, system maintenance, and monetary transactions.

In Short

• Perform data-entry of various types of information from multiple sources.
• Verify accuracy of documents such as titles.
• Prepare Reaffirmation Agreements and mail to attorneys.
• Create payment coupons and G/L tickets from trustee disbursements.
• Review and verify legal documents from attorneys.
• Prepare and submit Proof of Claims to the court.
• Contact outside vendors for information on accounts.
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
• Maintain internal control standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A combined 2 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of M&T Bank systems is a plus.
