Overview

The BMS (Building Management Systems) Service Technician II is a technically skilled, mid- to high-level field role responsible for the independent execution of BMS service projects, including troubleshooting, installation, integration, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems in commercial and mission-critical environments.

• Independently troubleshoot connections to HVAC equipment and controllers.
• Execute full startup and commissioning of BMS service projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of field experience in BMS or HVAC controls.
• Ability to independently commission and troubleshoot control systems.
• Proficiency with Tridium/Niagara, Distech, or equivalent systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and control schematics.
• High level of independence in fieldwork and decision-making.
• Proficient in wire sheet logic and control sequences.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel 75-95% of the year.
