Commercial Roofing Survey Technician - Remote

Overview

The Commercial Roofing Survey Technician will perform inspections and evaluations of commercial roofing systems, utilizing Mantis survey methodology to enhance facility asset management.

In Short

• Conduct roof surveys and inspections across various locations.
• Utilize MANTIS tablet technology for data collection.
• Evaluate roof conditions and identify defects and hazards.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on roofs.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
• Travel extensively (up to 80-90%) for job assignments.
• Participate in cross-training for wall and pavement inspections.
• Document findings and provide recommendations based on inspections.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Engage in heavy physical activities including lifting and climbing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in roofing or construction.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• IIBEC Certification: Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred.
• AS/BS in Engineering or related field is a plus.
• Ability to travel extensively across the country.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
• Experience with safety protocols and hazard identification.
