With a mission to enhance conservation practices through community action and stewardship, Maliasili focuses on strengthening the organizational performance, leadership, and resources of its partners. The organization supports a diverse portfolio of approximately 55 local and national conservation organizations that are at the forefront of wildlife conservation, land restoration, and coastal fisheries. By fostering collaboration and learning among these partners, Maliasili aims to scale up community-based conservation efforts and improve livelihoods through nature-based economic opportunities. Over the past decade, Maliasili has built a community of 182 conservation leaders across 18 countries, helping partners leverage over $27.3 million in funding to safeguard critical ecosystems and promote sustainable practices.
