We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as our first dedicated Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (f/m/x) - someone who will own this area end-to-end and build the foundation for everything that follows.

In Short

• This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership.
• Your mission is to make MAIA's platform reliable, secure, auditable, and developer-friendly.
• You take full ownership of our infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
• You own our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• You build, improve, and maintain our observability stack.
• You implement and improve our security fundamentals.
• You implement technical controls for ISO 27001 certification.
• Strong ownership mentality is required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong experience running production systems in a SaaS environment.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and containers.
• Strong security fundamentals and proven experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• PostgreSQL operations basics knowledge.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
