IT Network Engineer - Remote Hybrid

Overview

Magna5 is seeking a skilled Tier 2 Network Engineer to join our fully remote team, focusing on bolstering our managed services support.

In Short

• Work primarily from home with occasional client site visits.
• Respond to customer support requests through various channels.
• Collaborate with team members to solve network issues.
• Document resolutions and build knowledge base articles.
• Engage in continued certification training.
• Participate in internal projects and designs.
• Willingness to maintain relevant certifications.
• On-call rotation participation required.
• Work hours are primarily Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm EST.
• Remote position with occasional onsite support in Philadelphia.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in networking technologies.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant experience.
• Ability to prioritize multiple customer issues.
• Strong curiosity for learning new technology.
• Experience with network design and implementation.
• Understanding of firewall functions and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of Radius/LDAP and Spanning-Tree.
• Experience with High Availability concepts.
• Ability to design detailed network drawings.
• Relevant networking certifications preferred.
