Remote Crane Controller

Overview

The Remote Crane Controller is responsible for operating the automated Double Trolley Ship to Shore (DSTS) crane to load and discharge containers and other cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring coordination with various operations teams.

• Operate DSTS automated crane remotely to load and discharge cargo.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or three years of relevant vocational education.
• High level of planning and organizational skills.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial intelligence.
• Fluency in English and French, local language preferred.
• Ability to focus and concentrate for extended periods.
• Not suffering from computer vision syndrome.
• Valid driving license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle exceptions.
