As a Claims Handler, you will manage end-to-end cargo claims processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling, investigation, and resolution.

• Handle cargo claims from first notification to settlement and recovery.
• Assign and coordinate surveyors for claim investigations.
• Provide proactive claims support to global customers.
• Interpret policy wordings, clauses, and exclusions with technical accuracy.

• Maintain documentation in the Claims Management System.

• Ensure financial control through accurate reserving and reporting.
• Align with claims best practices and internal policies.

Requirements

• Licentiate/Associateship/Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India (III).
• Experience in marine/cargo claims preferred.
• Strong policy interpretation and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Effective time management and file organization.
• Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt.
