Patient Enrollment Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Patient Enrollment Coordinator position is an entry-level role within the Patient Enrollment Department at Wake Research, focused on the timely enrollment of patients for clinical research studies.

In Short

• Remote position with central time or west coast working hours preferred.
• Responsible for initiating contact with potential study participants.
• Conduct phone-based pre-screening interviews to assess eligibility.
• Provide detailed study information and answer patient inquiries.
• Ensure outstanding customer service with every interaction.
• Schedule onsite screening visits for eligible patients.
• Input and record patient information into the CTMS database.
• Track and report call outcomes and other data metrics.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Attend patient enrollment meetings as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; medical certification preferred.
• 1+ year of customer service or call center experience required.
• Preferred experience as a medical assistant, nurse, or EMT.
• Prior clinical research or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to learn and communicate complex information clearly.
• Proficient in utilizing new software and technology.
