As a Founding Backend Engineer, you’ll be building the backend infrastructure that powers all of it:

In Short

• Build backend infrastructure for emotional AI.
• Refactor C#/.NET Core backend into Python (FastAPI).
• Create robust REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Deploy microservices on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
• Integrate AI/ML systems for personalization.
• Design emotion-aware systems that adapt in real-time.
• Collaborate with product and AI teams.
• Own the entire AWS stack and infrastructure.
• Work in a remote-first, async-friendly culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years in backend or full-stack development.
• Experience shipping production backends in high-growth startups.
• Proficient in .NET short-term, prefer Python long-term.
• Experience with LLM-based products.
• Strong systems thinking and clean abstractions.
• Experience with zero-to-one product development.
• Preference for EU candidates.
