Collections Manager - Remote

Overview

The Collections Manager is responsible for managing a team that handles collections, repossessions, remarketing of assets, and related litigation for small ticket business equipment leases.

• Manage collection of past due payments for loan and lease accounts.
• Assist Collectors with assessing collections options and tactics.
• Oversee asset repossession and remarketing processes.
• Support bankruptcy and litigation efforts to maximize fund recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant education or work experience.
• 5 years of collections and recovery experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal skills for team management.
• Knowledge of asset recovery laws and regulations.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with business-specific systems preferred.
