Senior Android Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a very Senior Android Engineer to join our Retention engineering group; where we use the latest technologies and architectures to build fantastic solutions that help us provide digital and financial inclusion to our customers across our operational markets.

In Short

• Join a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain M-KOPA’s Customer apps.
• Work with Kotlin for Android apps and Azure for backend services.
• Participate in a bi-weekly release cycle of Android applications.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Kotlin and Android app development.
• Knowledge of clean architecture principles and testing.
• Experience with unidirectional data flow and Jetpack Compose.
• Background in large-scale product development.
• Comfortable with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Docker.
• Ability to work in a self-organized, agile team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
