Intake Clinician - Remote

Overview

The Intake Clinician’s primary role is to provide high quality and professional solution focused counselling and information support service to employees of client companies telephonically in Malaysia.

In Short

• Provide first point of contact for employees accessing the Lyra EAP service via telephone counselling or live chat.
• Deliver services to callers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Accurately capture all information on the database pertinent to clinical management.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and procedures as laid out by Clinical Management.
• Work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 in 12-hour shifts.
• Manage weekend shifts with rotational days off.
• Conform to call centre conditions and structures.
• Complete pre-employment checks including criminal and reference checks.
• Preference for candidates with EAP field experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s Qualification as a Psychologist or a Counsellor.
• Registration with the MAHPC or Lembaga Kaunsellor Malaysia.
• Ability to provide counselling within a short-term framework.
• Computer literacy and ability to type fast.
• Client service orientation and good telephone manner.
• Good clinical understanding and ability to manage risk.
• Good time management ability and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work within a team.
• High attention to details.
• Business and commercial awareness.
