In Short

  • Manage payroll, bonuses, commissions, and equity processes.
  • Execute semi-monthly payroll cycles accurately.
  • Administer equity plans and manage relationships with external providers.
  • Collaborate with department heads for accurate bonus and commission calculations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for payroll and equity.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and equity requirements.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Oversee year-end activities such as W-2 distribution.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance for system integration.
  • Act as the point person for payroll-related systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto) and equity management software (e.g., Carta).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and equity compliance.
  • Analytical skills for payroll and equity reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ethical standards.
  • Experience implementing HRIS/HCM platforms is a plus.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
