Accounting Intern - Remote

Lumerate is searching for an awesome post-secondary student to join us for a 4 month accounting internship!

In Short

• Supporting with month-end reporting, including reconciliations
• Assisting with a variety of critical accounting information, transactions and flows
• Providing insights into the continuous improvements of existing reporting processes
• Gaining hands on experience working with accounting software such as Float, Quickbooks and Maxio
• Work remotely or hybrid from the office
• Learn from a close-knit, experienced team
• Participate in company events
• 4 month internship with potential for growth
• Must be a registered student in Ontario

Requirements

• Registered full-time or part-time under a co-operative education program
• A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Interest in accounting
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn
• Experience with accounting software
• Taken an Accounting 101 course
• Include specific word in application as per instructions
• Enthusiasm for the role
