Overview

The Client Reporting Financial Analyst will support firm leadership and partners by gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial information that drives decision-making and enhances client relationships.

In Short

  • Enter, maintain, and validate financial data in the Firm’s reporting/financial systems.
  • Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations.
  • Support the firm’s participation in financial surveys.
  • Provide reporting on client, matter, and firm performance.
  • Support pricing and alternative fee arrangement initiatives.
  • Collaborate on client-facing reports.
  • Analyze attorney compensation data.
  • Maintain client/matter budget alerts.
  • Contribute to process improvements in reporting and budgeting.
  • Work on ad hoc financial projects.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools a plus.
  • Familiarity with Aderant or other legal financial systems preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
