Overview

Longbridge is hiring a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for our Corporate Legal Department, assisting with legal support duties and compliance related to home equity solutions for seniors.

In Short

• Assist Legal by performing a variety of legal support duties.
• Review loan documents for compliance with state and federal laws.
• Support new product development and project management.
• Research and analyze law sources related to the mortgage industry.
• Handle guideline issues with legal nuances.
• Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence.
• 2+ years of transactional paralegal experience preferred.
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills required.
• Knowledge of consumer finance regulations is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years Paralegal transactional experience, preferably in real estate.
• Experience performing legal research.
• Knowledge of mortgage regulations including RESPA, TILA, ECOA.
• Contracts review experience is a plus.
• Strong comprehension and drafting skills.
