CT Scan Technologist Seasonal - Remote

Overview

This position utilizes noninvasive computerized medical technology to take CT scan images, which are used to diagnose, evaluate, and treat a variety of medical issues. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health.

• Utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images.
• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards.
• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
• Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License required by law.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Requirements

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT required.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).
• A passion for patient care.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
