Qualified Adults Social Worker - Mental Health Team - Remote

Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available in East Sussex. They are looking for a new member for their Mental Health Team.

This is a close-knit team with extremely supportive and experienced managers, capped caseloads, and excellent learning and development opportunities.

In Short

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Offer crisis intervention and advocate for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and stay informed about advancements in mental health care.
• Undertake social care assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014.
• Manage a caseload of service users requiring complex case management.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant Mental Health teams.
• Experience working within Mental Health Care and Support Teams.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in social work.
